Wallack, “Introduction,” in Crafting Presence: The American Essay and the Future of Writing Studies, 3–17. Bring at least three passages from one or both books that interested you or that you taught you something about the essay as a literary form

Your site will have a brief personal biography or statement, and pages to organize draft materials, as well as other features. On Wednesday we will look at a few examples of your sites, and talk about useful protocols and conventions for posting essays on the open web.
